Ciao! My name is Leo and here is my story

I was working in a fast-paced environment where things were changing at the speed of light. I was sleeping little, I was sleeping poorly.

Life caught me off guard by the age of twenty five. I woke up with a REM sleep deficit: I somehow didn't allow my nervous system to get into REM sleep and dream.

I didn't feel safe taking the pills I was handed over, took my destiny in charge, and decided to look for a simple, safe, and reliable method to abandon myself to creative and regenerating dreams.

I met with doctors and researchers in neurophysiology all over the world and discovered along the way a method used by athletes and astronauts for more than twenty years: HRV biofeedback.

It consists in a simple breathing exercise coupled with a biofeedback mechanism which allows to quantify the balance of our nervous system in real-time.

As I started to use this method every night and I resumed the journey of my dreams, I was gaining in vitality, in emotional agility and in creativity, I felt more alive and accomplished every day.

I felt the desire to share it with new generations so that they can live their dream and live life fully.

Our autonomic nervous system connects our head to our body and plays a crucial role for our energy balance.

 

It comprises two branches:

The orthosympathetic nervous system is responsible for our energy consumption or expenditure

The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for our energy restoration or intake

 

Given our digital lifestyle, we tend to overactivate our orthosympathetic nervous system in comparison to our parasympathetic nervous system and, at the end of the day, the two systems can become out of tune.

 

 

Breathing at a ten second rhythm has been shown to allow these two systems to re-synchronise themselves and work in tandem at their optimal rhythm of performance.
